G'day — I'm Samuel, a carpenter of eighteen years. I got sick of hunting for offcuts to scribble measurements on, and of numbers going missing between the mark and the saw. The little miscommunications nobody clocks — that's where the money leaks. So I built the tool I wanted in my own tool belt, and since 2023 it's ended up in thousands of them across Australia, New Zealand, the UK and the USA. That's me in the photo — and the combo pencil is the tool that ties the whole system together: the one thing on your belt that marks the timber and writes on every E-Pad we make.

STRAIGHT ANSWERS
They do — every E-Pad screen is pressure-based, so a fingernail or whatever's in your hand works in a pinch. The stylus tip is just the better experience: a fine point for neater, smaller writing, and it's always on you because it's built into the pencil you already carry. No hunting through pockets while the number fades from memory.
All of them — the 4.0, the Dura Max, the Dual Pad and the Tape Measure. Every E-Pad in the range is pressure-based, so one stylus covers the lot.
Standard 2.8mm leads, medium-hardness graphite. Refill leads come included in the box, and when you run out they're stocked at most hardware stores — coloured leads too, if that's how you mark.
It's mechanical — click out more lead and keep going. When the tip wants a proper point, there's a sharpener built into the holster. No knife, no shavings through the ute.
The holster has a rigid clip that mounts on your belt, pouch or harness strap, and the pencil clicks into the holster so it can't rattle out. It's 58 grams and 195mm in the holster — you'll forget it's there until you need it.
